Grayson County Conservatives is spearheading an open letter gaining statewide conservative backing to oppose Texas House Bill 3 (the companion to Senate Bill 2)—the so-called “school choice” bills. It has already garnered nearly 2,000 signatures, spanning 62 pages from conservatives across the state. The conservative message has attracted signatures from over 100 prominent leaders, including Republican GOP County Chairs, Precinct Chairs, Mayors, City Councilmen, Texas GOP Delegates, grassroots leaders and more. Eight large homeschool co-ops, representing over 7,000 homeschool families statewide, have also signed.
The full letter reveals why this conservative coalition views these “school choice” bills, HB3 (the companion to SB2), as a threat to private education and conservative values—readers who agree can add their signatures at https://graysoncountyconservatives.com/hb3/.
